Mr. Eason was preceded in death by his son, Jeffrey Alan Eason. He was a member of Assembly of Praise and worked as security officer and in construction.
He is survived by his wife, Jewell D. Eason, daughter, Donna Jean Eason (Barry), sons, James Roscoe Eason Jr. (Debra), Barry Wayne Eason Sr. (Kim), brothers, Lamar Eason, Howard Eason, Jerry Eason, grandchildren, Sha Swindall, Paige Tanner, Laura Reed, Cindy Eason, Eric Eason, Stephen Eason, Barry Eason Jr., great grandchildren, Madison Swindall, Makayla Swindall, Molly Swindall, R. J. Eason, Braylon Moore, Daniel Eason and Danielle Eason.
The family will receive friends from 6:00PM until 8:00PM on Thursday, January 6, 2011 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.
Funeral Services will be held on Friday, January 7, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with burial at Grantswood Cemetery in Irondale.
