Mr. Johnson was a member of Moody First Baptist Church and Masonic Lodge #605. He was retired after 40 years at Racetrac Petroleum and was a loving husband, father and grandfather. He was preceded in death by his wife, Dorothy Johnson.
He is survived by his daughters, Linda Scott (Hiram), Kathy Webb (Chuck), sons, James R. Johnson Jr. (Sonja), Timmy W. Johnson, sister, Katherine Weeks, (5) grandchildren, (3) great grandchildren and (1) great great grandchild.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at Wyatt Funeral Home in Opp, Alabama.
Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, November 17, 2010 at 11:00 AM from Wyatt Funeral Home with burial at Peaceful Acres Cemetery.
