James was preceded in death by his parents, Judy and James Miller, Sr. He is survived by his wife, Dana Miller; daughters, Melissa Hayes (Jeremy) and Amber Gibson (Jeff); five grandchildren; sister, Marie Tidwell (Tommy); brother, Randy Miller (LeeAnn); and three nieces and two nephews.
A visitation will be held on April 9, 2026, from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds, Alabama. A funeral service will be held on April 10, 2026, at 11:00 am at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds, Alabama. Burial will follow at Mt. Joy Cemetery.
James loved shooting pool, liked to fish, and was a truck driver for 25 years. His steady presence and faithful devotion to those he loved will be remembered always.
