John Michael Kirk

Mike was a proud graduate of the University of Georgia. He was an accomplished landscape architect by trade, and skilled and passionate sailboat owner and Captain in his free time. He was a member of Briarwood Presbyterian Church. He leaves behind his daughter J. Michele Graves (Dwight) of Trussville, AL and granddaughters Megan Graves also of Trussville, AL and Kelsey Graves Laney (Tyler), and great granddaughter Tillie Grace Laney of Cullman, AL; his brother Robert "Bob" Kirk (Carol), nephew Preston Kirk (Whitney) and niece Peyton Kirk Russell (Adam) all of Birmingham, AL and three great-nephews. Last but not least, his sister Jane "Jan" Kirk Baker of Pensacola, FL. He was preceded in death by his parents Army Colonel Robert Pugh Kirk and Frances Newberry McClure Kirk. He will be missed by family and many friends.

Graveside services will be held on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Forest Crest Cemetery beginning at 2:30PM
