Johnny Roy Stokes,Sr. age 77, of Leeds, Alabama passed away on Friday, July 25, 2025 and is preceded in death by his son; Johnny Roy Stokes Jr, sisters; Lois Stokes Howard, Marlene Stokes Layton, Wynell Stokes and Nancy Stokes Shropshire, brothers; James Donald Stokes and Rayburn Stokes and parents John D. and Eva Weldon Stokes. Mr. Stokes is survived by his wife of 57 years Kathy Keith Stokes, daughter; Stacy Rene Stokes. Services will be Friday August 1st at 12:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home - Leeds with burial at Jefferson Memorial Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday August 1st at Kilgroe Funeral Home - Leeds from 11-12.
