Johnny Dewitt Thomas, age 58, of Springville, Alabama passed away on Wednesday, January 12, 2022. Johnny was born August 3, 1963. He is preceded in death by his parents, Mr. and Mrs. Benny Thomas and brother, Danny Thomas. He is survived by his wife of 12 years Kristie Thomas; sons, Blake Thomas (Misty), sons by choice, John VanWagner Jr, Justin Cody VanWagner (Delaine); grandchildren, Jaycee VanWagner, Harper VanWagner, Emma VanWagner, Ashley McMahon, Brittany McMahon, and Chole McMahon; sisters, Darlene Thomas, Kay Thomas, Nancy Thomas, and Susan Cobbs (Ricky); brother, Linn Thomas. A visitation will be held on Tuesday January 18, 2022 from 1:00-2:00PM from the chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama with a service to follow at 2:00PM. Burial will be at Lawely's Cemetery.
