Karen S. McNutt

McNUTT, (MISS) KAREN SUE, 1951-2022, one of Jesus' special blessings, joined Him suddenly on February 15 following a brain aneurysm. Karen loved life and people, especially her Pastor, Bro. Pat Giles, at Macedonia Baptist Church in Margaret. Karen loved Jesus, was a faithful prayer warrior, and attended nearly everything happening at her Church. She especially enjoyed singing in the Choir, and was so excited that their Choir was beginning again this Sunday. She didn't make that, but now she's singing in God's Heavenly choir! Karen was very smart and talented. For about 30 years she square danced as her Daddy called, she was an artist drawing pictures, using pencils, crayons and paints, worked jigsaw puzzles, and was an exuberantly never-ceasing talker! She also enjoyed eating out with friends and shopping, especially at The Dollar Tree and Wal Mart!

Karen was preceded in death by her parents, Venice & Paul McNutt and brother, Dennis McNutt. She's survived by her aunts and uncles, Shirley & Stanley Robertson and Zoe and Mack McAlpine; niece, Shelby Rutledge (Adam and John Adam (Jonathan); sister-in-law, Robin Mangino; and numerous other nieces, nephews, cousins, and special friends.

Karen was a very special, caring, person who will be greatly missed. We're all Praising God that she didn't suffer and is now in her Heavenly home.

Visitation will be on Friday, February 18, 2022 at Kilgroe Funeral Home 1750 Ashville Road Leeds, Alabama, from 1:00 PM until 2:00 PM, with a celebration of life beginning at 2:00 PM in the chapel, followed by burial at Forest Crest Cemetery, Irondale, Alabama. Bro. Pat Giles officiating.
