Mrs. Phillips is survived by her husband, Wallace Phillips; daughter, Teresa Overton (Frankie); sons, Dennis Helms (Lillian), David Helms (Vickie); step-children, Brenda Johnson, Barbara Bowen, Buddy Phillips, Shirley Hatcher, Patsy Mears, Becky Davis; sisters, Vera Mae Moore, Faye McCaig; numerous grandchildren, great grandchildren, nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 6 PM until 8 PM on Tuesday, March 4, 2014 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.
Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, March 5, 2014 at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
