She was born in Leeds and resided there most of her life. She graduated from Leeds High School in 1954. She was preceded in death by her parents, Silas and Virginia Martin as well as her sister, Martha Martin Gilliland. She was a member of the Leeds First United Methodist Church.
She is survived by her children, Jeff Blair, Leslie Blair and Cliff Blair; grandchildren, Jesse Blair, Courtney Purkey, Sam Purkey, Vincent Blair, Shay Blair; sisters, Kitty Martin Adams, Laura Martin Smith (Tommy); her best friend, Linda Barnard Cantrell and numerous cousins, nieces and nephews.
A celebration of her life will be Saturday, March 11, 2017 at 12PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with burial at Mt. Hebron Cemetery.
The family will receive friends Friday, March 10, 2017 from 6PM until 8PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.
