Mary Sue Causey

Mary was a former CNA at Springs Manor Retirement Center in Pell City. She loved taking care of people. And had a heart of gold.

She loved playing the piano, doing crafts, gardening, reading and going to church. She was a member of Trinity Lighthouse Church of God. She loved Jesus with all of her heart.

She was a wonderful, kind and loving wife, Mother, Grandmother and Great Grandmother and friend. We know she is in Heaven and we will see her again. But we love and miss her dearly.

She is survived by her husband David Paul Causey, Sr. of 26 years. They had a special love and marriage full of laughs. And a bond that brought them closer through many medical difficulties.

Her daughter, Melissa (Lisa) Willingham Millsap of Pell City, Son, Michael Todd Willingham (Stacy) of Cropwell and son Brian Scott Martin (Cassondra) of Odenville. Grandsons, Jayden Andrew Martin, Bryan Preston Martin, Jameson Brown Willingham, Christian Starr Willingham, Matthew Dwaytt Brown; Granddaughters, Gwendolyn Ashley Martin, Kaeley Nicole Peoples, Sherry Ann Brown, Brandy Nicole Brown, Alexus Leann Glass and Autaum Faye McClure.

Her sisters, Martha Dean Falkner Norman of Sugarland, TX and Sheila Renee Falkner Reagan also of Sugarland, TX.

She is predeceased, by her mother, Virgie Virginia Eason Falkner, her father, Arlon Simpson Falkner, her brothers, Elgin Simpson Falkner, Raymond Arlon Falkner, John Earl Falkner and Joe Bluie Falkner; her sister, Catherine Virginia Falkner Hazelwood.

Visitation will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leed beginning at 9:00AM for family and 10:00AM to 11:00AM for friends. Funeral services will be held on Wednesday, July 2, 2025 at Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds beginning at 11:00AM with burial to follow at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
