She is preceded in death by her husband, Sidney Brooks.
She is survived by her daughters, Laura Brooks and Kathy Nelson; son, Robert Brooks; sister, Glenda Winslett; brother, Clenton Mayo; grandchildren, Allen Barrow and Holly Johnson; and great-grandchild, Tate Johnson.
The family will receive friends Thursday, July 26, 2018 from 12PM to 2PM at New Life Baptist Church with a funeral service to follow at 2PM. Burial will take place at Low Gap Cemetery.
