Michael Joseph Pichette

Michael was born October 2, 1982 in Landstuhl, Germany to Wilfred Joseph and Maria Theresa Anne Pichette. Proceeded in death by his grandparents Wilfred J Pichette Sr and Mary J Pichette. He was of the Catholic Faith. He was a graduate from Moody High School, Class of 2000. Michael served in the United States Navy from 2001-2006; from 2004-2005 he served in Iraq as a Combat Medic for Marine Corp. 22 Echo Co. out of Camp Lejeune, NC. He worked for the University of Alabama Birmingham as an Emergency Communications Technician. He was currently an EMT/Paramedic at the Bluegrass Army Depot.

He is survived by his parents, Wilfred Joseph and Maria Pichette of Odenville, AL; one sister, Jessica Brooke Leigh (Gregg) Crump of Odenville, AL; two nieces. Ava Alyssa Rae Crump and Ila Anne Marie Crump; grandparents, Richard Vagner and Trudy Phillips; Uncle John Vagner, Aunt Dr. Carol Vagner Livingston, Aunt Kate Phillips (John) Hosmer, and Uncle H (Keisha Milan) Phillips as well as numerous cousins and dear friends.

Services are being planned for a later date at the Alabama National Cemetery in Montevallo.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Crohn’s and Colitis Foundation in Michael’s memory.
