Neal Mapes, age 64, of Leeds, Alabama passed away on Tuesday, July 1, 2025. Neal is preceded in death by his parents, Luther Mapes and Jeanette and Terry Cagle; sister, Bobbie Mapes. Neal is survived by his wife of 48 years Kathy Mapes; daughters, Jennifer Bryant, Beth (Mitchell) Hurst, Amy (Jeff) Shockley, and Rachel (Steve) Kelley; 13 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. A Memorial Service will be held on Monday, July 7 2025 at 11:00AM from the Chapel of Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds, Alabama.
