Nolan J Elfer (Pluto), age 95, passed away on October 26, 2015. He was born in Reserve, Louisiana, and was a past resident of Ensley, Forestdale, and Leeds, Alabama. He was retired from U. S. Steel. He was preceded in death by his wife Lena G Elfer, father and mother, Hamilton and Noelie Duhe Elfer and three brothers and three sisters. He is survived by a daughter Marguerite (Donald) Rome.
Visitation and funeral mass will be at St. Theresa Catholic Church in Leeds on Thursday October 29. Visitation will be at 10:00 am with funeral mass at 11:00 am. Burial will follow in Elmwood Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to St Jude’s Children’s Research Hospital, St Theresa Catholic Church Building Fund or the American Cancer Society.
