

Mrs. Patterson resided in Leeds, AL since 2000, prior residence of Roebuck/Centerpoint. She worked with Associated Doctors Insurance Company, retiring after 35 years of service. She loved her family, loved life and lived it fully. She will be greatly missed. She was predeceased by her parents, two brothers, two sisters and three spouses. Van Allen House who was lost at sea in WWII, James W. Burns, the love of her life and Warren Gene Patterson, her childhood sweetheart reunited.
She is survived by her brothers, Maurice C. Taylor and Finus Taylor (Patti); Sister in law, Pauline Gilmore, nieces, Linda Cobb (Jake), Cathy Taylor Karr (Steve), Gracia Barton, Teresa Ann Brooks (Bill), nephews, Robert Vaughn (Reba), David C. Taylor (Molly), Van A. Taylor (Rachel), Sam Taylor, Finus Clifton “Buster” Lilly (Kay) and Finus Max Taylor (Jackie). She is also survived by many great nieces and nephews, Melissa Kay Lilly and Stephen David Karr were especially close to her heart and she theirs. Special friends and care takers, Norma Isbell, Gail Smith, Jean Thomas, Helen Startley, Ada Taylor and a host of friends and special neighbors, special pet, Ginger.

The family will receive friends from 5:30 PM until 9:00 PM on Friday, January 21, 2011 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.
Funeral Services will be on Saturday, January 22, 2011 at 2:00 PM at The Church of the Epiphany, 1338 Montevallo Road, Leeds, AL 35094 with burial at Forest Crest Cemetery.
