Glenn “Popsie” Isenhower, of Leeds, passed away peacefully on March 7, 2026. Born on September 22, 1958, Glenn devoted his life to his family, friends, and his Leeds community. He was a 1977 graduate of Leeds High School and also a member of Cedar Grove Baptist Church.
Glenn spent his entire career at Motion Industries, where he worked primarily in sales. He was known for his passionate support of the Leeds Greenwave, Alabama football, and most of all, his family. Throughout his life, Glenn was affectionately known by many nicknames, but “Popsie” was the one he held most dear. He found great joy in watching his four grandchildren play and cheer on the field.
Glenn is survived by his wife of 48 years, Nelda Howard Isenhower, who was also his high school sweetheart; his children, Alecia (Chad) Vance and Leslie (Joey) Miller; his four grandchildren, Cayleigh and Caden Vance, Kinlee Gilley, and Kellen Miller, his mother Margaret Waters Isenhower, sister Elaine (Mike) Stevenson, sister-in-law Debbie (Stanley) Gilbert, nieces; Taunya (Mark) Dexter, Ryan Isenhower, Victoria (David) Echols, nephews; Jamison (Amanda) Isenhower, Bain Isenhower, and Michael (Krystal) Stevenson, along with several aunts, uncles, great nieces and great nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, John Elwood Isenhower Jr., brother John Elwood Isenhower III, and son-in-law Wesley Gilley.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, March 10th, 2026, at 1:30 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds. A funeral service will follow at 3:00 with burial at Cedar Grove Cemetery.
