Mr. Mitchell is survived by his wife, Lynda Umphrey Mitchell; sons, Michael Mitchell (Ann), Danny Mitchell; sister, Betty Mitchell Johnsey (Malcolm); grandchildren, Corey Mitchell, Leslie Mitchell White, LeeAnn Franklin Crouch, Steven Franklin; great grandchildren, Ty Crouch and Silas Franklin.
The family will receive friends, Friday, December 2, 2016 from 10AM until 12 Noon at Ashville Road Church of Christ. Services will be at Ashville Road Church at 12 Noon with burial to follow at Antioch Church of Christ in Boaz, AL.
