Rita Thomas, 37, passed away on January 15, 2021. She was a beloved daughter, sister, and mother who loved cats and all things purple. She is survived by her parents, Donald and Sherleen McCarty;her daughters, Leanne and Desirae Thomas; her sons, Michael Thomas, Jr, and Anthony Thomas; sisters Lisa and Donna McCarty; her brother John "Bo" Scott; and her grandparents, Faye Jones, Gene and Bonnie Bingaman, and Bit and Sue McCarty.
A memorial service for Ms. Thomas will be held on February 11, 2021, at 11:00 am at the First Baptist Church in Leeds.
