Robert Dalton Johnson

Mr. Johnson was a lifetime resident of Sterrett, AL. He was a member of Beulah Baptist Church, Veteran of WWII having served in the Army during the So. Pacific Campaign, he was an avid farmer and loved gardening and raising cows. He was preceded in death by his mother, Cora Beatrice Jarrett Johnson; father, Arthur Amos Johnson; sister, Millie Spradley Gardner; brothers, Clint and James Johnson and granddaughter Sarah.

He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Johnson; daughters, Clara Rebecca Clinkscales (husband Joe); Patricia Evelyn Sego (husband Mark); grandchildren, Scott Clinkscales (wife Cindy); Christopher Forman; Tyler Roper; Jennifer and Jamie Sego; great grandchildren, Daniel and Christopher Clinkscales; Lauren and Marcus Sego; Olivia Forman and Hadlee Shugart.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM on Friday, October 1, 2010 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.

Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, October 2, 2010 at 2:00 PM from Beulah Baptist Church in Sterrett with burial at Sterrett Cemetery.
