Sandra J McClung

Sandra McClung, age 76, of Leeds, Alabama passed away on Monday, February 9, 2026. Sandra was born on March 16th, 1949, in Philadelphia, Mississippi to Jackson Berrel Hartsfield and Allie Jean Hartsfield. She was employed by Kirkwood by the River from the spring of 1980 until her retirement in 2015.

Sandra is survived by her sister, Lisa Hartsfield Sims (Todd); her nieces, Jennifer Cone (John), Jessica Weaver (Chad) and Kimberly Morrison; her great-nieces, Katie Cone, Ava Brown and Allie Brown; and her great-nephew, Patrick Cone.

Sandra was preceded in death by her parents, Jackson Berrel Hartsfield and Allie Jean Hartsfield, and her sister, Margaret Tedford.

The family would like to give a special thanks to Dr. Azita Takeshian (kidney specialist), Dr. Jennifer White (general practitioner), and Grace Spencer, CRNP (endocrinologist), and Amedisys Hospice of Birmingham for their wonderful care.

The family will receive friends Thursday, February 12, 2026 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at Kilgroe Funeral Home Leeds Chapel with a funeral service to follow at 2:00 PM. Burial will take place at Mt. Hebron Cemetery in Leeds, AL.
