Traylon Jay Ward, age 52 of Moody, Alabama, passed away on Monday, July 3, 2023. He was preceded in death by his mother, Marsha Dunn. Mr. Ward is survived by his wife, Tanya Ward; his two daughters, Jessica Ward and Traylee Ward (Ellis); his stepson, Cory Sims (Brittany); four grandchildren, Waverly, Hadley, Alora, and Kailey; his father, Troy Ward (Vonda) and his brother, Brandon Ward (Dianne). Traylon loved Auburn football. He enjoyed writing music and playing his guitar. Traylon had a huge love for everyone especially his grandchildren and helping people renovate their homes. He also loved singing,dancing and playing his music. A memorial service will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2023 beginning at 2:00 PM at Harvest Time Missionary Baptist Church 2540 Annie Lee Road Moody, AL 35004. Kilgroe Funeral Home, Leeds, AL directing the services.
