Troy Olan Thrasher

Mr. Thrasher was born in Talladega, AL on December 27 1941. He was a hard worker having worked at Pantry Pride in Jacksonville, FL for many years. He also worked as a security guard in Florida and Alabama before retiring. He was a strong man that battled cancer and was a survivor. Troy loved his family dearly and they were all close to his heart and in his prayers often. Troy was loved by many friends and family.

He is survived by his children, Brenda Lee Thrasher Heisler (Jay), Tommy Nolan Thrasher (Sherri), Tony Olan Thrasher, grandchildren, Jeremy Heisler, Michael Heisler, Sarah Heisler, Shelby Heisler, Kasie Thrasher, Korey Thrasher, Katelyn Thrasher, great granddaughter, Aubrey Nicole McRae, brothers and sisters, Jerry Thrasher (Louise), Julia Weems, Jean Bennett and Lydia Marohn (Buster).

Visitation will be held at 1 PM on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Kilgroe Funeral Home in Leeds.

Funeral Services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, May 28, 2014 at Kilgroe F. H. Leeds Chapel.
