Wesley Ferrell Stokes

He was preceded in death by his brother, Roy Jean Stokes.

Wesley was married to Linda Matteo Stokes; they were happily married for 49 years. Wesley is survived by brothers and sisters, James William Stokes (Sherry), Sheri Stokes Davis (Ron), daughters, Teri Huffman, Cindy Tipton (Bill), grandchildren, Joel Huffman (Kayla), Jessica Bailey (Daniel), Chris Pattillo, great-grandchildren, Laiken James Huffman, soon to arrive Tyde Adrian Huffman, best friend, Carl Huffman (Tamra).

Wesley was known by everyone around him as an honest, hard-working man that was willing to lend a helping hand to anyone that needed it. Wesley was a very skilled carpenter, whose work was created with passion and love and was considered by many to be an artist. He was a man of great wisdom who never met a stranger, sharing his vast knowledge with anyone willing to listen. He treated every person he met with kindness and love, and accepted them as if they were part of his own family. Wesley was loved by all and will always be in the hearts of many.

Funeral Services will be held, Wednesday, July 23, 2014 at 12:00 noon at Covenant Faith Church with burial at Friendship Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church on Wednesday starting at 11:00 AM.
