William LeRoy Kennedy, age 79, of Leeds, Alabama passed away on Thursday, February 3, 2022. William was born December 6, 1942. He is preceded in death by his daughter, Robin Cowden; sister, Shirley Ann Wilson and Carolyn Bryan.
William is survived by his wife of 57 years Jewell Kennedy; sons, David Kennedy (Lisa) and Cary Kennedy (Jessica); brothers, James Kennedy (Nan) and Tommy Kennedy (Karen); grandchildren, Zabrina Gregg (Kevin), Jennifer Rybka, Levi Kennedy (Kara), Evan Kennedy (Marlee), Ashley Powers (Dakota), Joshua Kennedy, Ethan Kennedy, Jeremiah Kirkes, Lillian Kirkes, and Nash Kennedy; great grandchildren, Jake Files, Grayson Gregg, Justin Powers, Taylor Kennedy, and Caroline Powers.
Visitation will be held on Monday, February 7, 2022 at First Baptist Church Leeds from 6:00PM until 8:00PM. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at First Baptist Church Leeds at 1:00PM with burial to follow at Lawley's Chapel in Sterrett, AL.
