Cletus Don McInnis Sr.

Services celebrating the life of Cletus Don “C.D.” McInnis SR., 73, of Anacoco, LA will be held Thursday, September 12, 2013, at 10:00 a.m. in the Chapel of Hixson Funeral Home in Leesville, LA. Bro. Richard Lacour will be officiating.

Pallbearers will be: Don McInnis, Bruce Bean, Walter Dixon, Dale Allbritton, Danny Thompson and Bob Carlton. Burial will follow in McInnis Cemetery in Anacoco, LA. Visitation will be Wednesday, September 11, 2013 from 5:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. at Hixson Funeral Home in Leesville.

C.D. was born July 10, 1940, in Anacoco, LA to Johnie Lee McInnis and Flora Louise Leonard McInnis and made his journey home Monday, September 9, 2013. He was a member of Faith Baptist in Simpson. C.D. was skilled in the great outdoors where he loved turkey hunting, riding his rhino and 4-wheeling, camping, fishing, gardening and working with wood. He could build anything.

C.D. was preceded in death by his wife: Audrey LaNell Withers McInnis and parents: Johnie Lee McInnis and Flora Louise Leonard McInnis.

C.D. is survived by his son: Don McInnis and wife, Karen, of Anacoco, LA; daughters: Darlene McInnis Dixon and husband, Walter, of Anacoco, LA, Renee Bean and husband, Bruce, of Anacoco, LA and Janell Allbritton and husband, Dale, of Simpson; grandchildren: Kyristyn, Tristyn, Isaac and Zachary.
