Johnnie Ruth Evans

Mrs. Evans was a lifelong resident of Vernon Parish. She was a member of Crystal Springs Baptist Church in Anacoco.

Preceded in death by husband: Charles H. Evans; Brothers: Jimmy Mattox and Jerry Mattox.

Survivors include Son: Charles Evans and wife Donell of Anacoco; Daughters: Darlene Burns and husband Houston of Leesville, Donna Servello and husband Philip of Anacoco; Aunt: Edith Mattox of Anacoco; Sister: Angela “Tinker” Krebs and husband Don of Louisville, KY.; Grandchildren: Hope Kuhlow, Aaron Evans, Megan Evans, Jennifer Evans, Hailey Servello; Great Grandchildren: Suzette Kuhlow, McKenzie Kuhlow, Garrett Kuhlow, and a host of nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held on Friday July 1, 2011 from 4:00 until 10:00 PM at Crystal Springs Baptist Church in Anacoco, LA. Service will beheld on Saturday July 2, 2011 at 2:00 PM at Crystal Springs Baptist Church. Bro. John Kautz will be officiating. Burial will follow in Mitchell Cemetery in Anacoco, LA., under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home in Leesville.
