Pat Sliman

Mass of Christian burial for Pat Sliman age 79 will be held Tuesday, November 22, 2011 at 1:00 PM in St. Michael Catholic Church of Leesville with Father Anthony Catella officiating. Burial will follow in Leesville Cemetery.

Pat was a lifelong resident of Leesville and owner of Vernon Abstract office, passed away on Friday November 18, 2011.

Born on December 8, 1931 in Natchitoches, LA. Pat was the daughter of the late Carey H. and Myrtle Prud’homme Blanchard.

Pat is survived by her children; Peter J. Sliman III and wife Kathleen of Leesville, LA., David Sliman of Mooringsport, LA., Susan Benson and husband Randy of Leesville, LA., grandchildren; Wesley Fontan, Rachael Gunter, Alex Benson, William T. Benson and Eden Sliman. Sisters; Marie Gahagan of Natchitoches, LA., Myrtle Powell of Bermuda, LA., and Brother; Carey Blanchard of Bermuda, LA., and numerous nieces and nephews and friends.

Pat was preceded in death by her husband Peter J. Sliman Jr. and daughter Barbara Fontan.

The family will receive friends Monday, November 21, 2011 from 3:00 PM until 8:00 PM at Hixson Funeral Home. A rosary will be prayed at 6:30 PM on Monday in the Chapel of Hixson Funeral Home. Visitation will resume at 12:00 PM until time of service on Tuesday November 22, 2011 at the funeral home.
