Sam W White

Mr. White was born in Flatwoods, LA on July 30, 1927, to Hiram White and Dora Eznack White.

Mr. White was of the Protestant faith and a member of Mora House of Prayer in Mora, LA. Mr. White loved the outdoors, whether it was raising cattle, hunting or just being outside. Mr. White enjoyed being around his friends and family. He will truly be missed by all.

Mr. White is preceded in death by his parents, Hiram and Dora White.

Mr. White is survived by his wife, Eunice White of Leesville, son, Sam W. White Jr. and wife, Rhonda, of Leesville, daughters, Annie Slatten and husband, Alton of Mora, LA, Linda Gypin and husband, Ronnie of Mora, LA, sister, Lillie Collier, of Vidor, TX, seven grandchildren and thirteen great – grandchildren.

Visitation will be held Friday, May 25, 2012 from 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm at Mora House of Prayer in Mora, LA. Services will be held Saturday, May 26, 2012 at 10:00 am at Mora House of Prayer. Bro. Buddy Martin will be officiating. Burial will follow in Flatwoods Cemetery, under the direction of Hixson Funeral Home of Leesville, LA.
