James O Phebus

James O. Phebus, 73, of Lehigh acres passed away Sunday February 23, 2014. He was born in Steubenville, OH. He was in the US Air Force from 1963 to 1967 serving in Vietnam. He worked with Fahey Flowers in Weirton, WV. He moved to Lehigh Acres in 1973 where he owned and operated Our Creations Florist and the Denny Travel Agency. He was a member of the American Legion, the Araba Shrine Temple, the Scottish Rite, the Lehigh Players, and the Ohio and west Virginia Clubs. He was a longtime volunteer with the Lehigh Acres Chamber of Commerce, and was Honorary Mayor of Lehigh Acres many times.

A Visitation will be held on Thursday February 27th from 10AM to 12PM at the Hodges-Farley Funeral Home 1100 Lee Blvd. Lehigh Acres. Funeral Service will be at 12PM at the funeral home with Pastor Glenna Tibs of the First Christian Church officiating. Entombment will be at Ft. Myers Memorial Gardens with Military Honors.
