DeForest (Chuck) was born February 21, 1928, in Appleton, Minnesota, son of Henry and Alma Schwartz , brothers DeWillis and Dallas, Sisters Henrietta, Eves, Valaria and Evangeline.
Chuck married the love of his life, Lorene, September 3, 1955 and had 4 beautiful children, Craig Schwartz, Scott Schwartz, Lori Lewis(Micheal) and Kent Schwartz (Lynnette), 12 grandchildren and 8 great grandchildren.
He served in the Marines then worked for AT&T for 35 years. After retiring, he enjoyed upholstering for family and friends and working in his garage, however, his biggest joy was watching his children, grandchildren and great grandchildren participate in school and sporting activities.
Chuck will be missed and forever in our hearts.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 6:00pm,Friday September 16, 2016 at Christ Lutheran Church, 7929 La Mesa Blvd, La Mesa, CA 91942
