

He was born on September 21, 1938 in Jaconita, NM to parents Jose Acencio Lujan And Rosabelle Lujan (Garcia).
He is preceded in death by his parents and 3 siblings, Gilbert, Connie and Kathy.
Joe is survived by his wife of 35 years, Jane Lujan; his children Thomas and Veronica Lujan and family of San Diego, Ca; Valerie Ortiz and family of Espanola, NM; Angela and Oscar Payan and family of Arroyo Seco, NM; stepchildren Sandy Deane and family; Tammy Adcock and family and Alan Adcock of San Diego, Ca,; sisters Mary and Maggie of Espanola, NM.
Joe Lujan was a loving husband, father, grandfather and great grandfather. He was a friend to all and left a lasting impression on many.
After 20 years of excellence at Nasco, he retired and enjoy working outdoors, listening to music and sports and was an avid fan of both the WWE and the San Diego Padres. His doors were always open and he was known to all as the life of the party.
Joe was one of a kind and will be forever in our hearts and missed dearly.
A rosary will be held on Wednesday, February 11th at 11am at Conrad Mortuary in Lemon Grove. Immediately following the services we will gather at the Eagles Club in Hillcrest.
