Alan Stanley Clark, age 68, passed away on Thursday, August 1, 2024 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital-UNC Health. He was born on September 8, 1955 to the late Stanley Fillmore Clark and Norma Jean (Williams). He is predeceased by his brother Sheriff Gary Michael Clark. Alan graduated from Hudson High School.
Those left to cherish his memory are his two nieces Megan Clark Anderson (Cody) and Michelle Lambert (Peter) as well as numerous great nieces and nephews.
Alan was gifted in a number of trades and possessed many skills yet he primarily was a businessman who managed his own monument sales and placement business for many years. He enjoyed activities such as riding his two Harley-Davidson motorcycles, his Dyna Glide and Red Road King. Alan also was fond of drag racing and had his own 1976 Chevrolet Nova drag car.
A graveside service to honor the memory of Alan will be held at Blue Ridge Memorial Park , Lenoir, N.C. on Sunday, August 11th, 2024 at 3:00 p.m. with Rev. Roger Beck officiating.
