Ambrose Larry Winebarger

Mr. Winebarger was born on September 12, 1947 in Caldwell County to the late Ambrose Millard Winebarger and Pearl Clarke Winebarger.

Mr. Winebarger was a loving and dedicated father to his children. He was a proud Veteran of the United States Marine Corps, serving during the Vietnam War and he was a member of Calvary Freewill Baptist Church in Valdese.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother; Rick Winebarger, three sisters; Phyllis Stoots, Peggy Craig, and Lynn Greene.

Those left to cherish his memory include his children, Preston Winebarger of Granite Falls, Shay Winebarger of Jacksonville Florida, and Dara Winebarger of Lenoir.

A Funeral Service will be held on Thursday, May 12, 2016 at 11:00 am in the chapel of Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home with Reverend Leonard Lindsey officiating. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Garden. The family will receive friends on Wednesday, May 11, 2016 from 6:00 pm until 8:00pm at the funeral home.
