Ann Faw (Simmons) Storie

Ann Faw Simmons Storie, age 86, of Hudson, NC passed away peacefully on Monday, June 19, 2023 at The Shaire Center in Lenoir. Ann was born September 24, 1936 in Caldwell County to the late Edward Thomas and Roxie Faw Simmons.

In addition to her parents, Ann is preceded in death by her son, Jeff Storie.

After a career in textiles, Ann enjoyed traveling to many locations in the US, and spending time with her family and friends. She could be found most every day at Donna’s Cafe in Hudson with many of her friends enjoying a meal and fellowship. Breakfast being her favorite!

Those left to cherish her memory include her daughter, Karen Storie Glasscock of Mocksville, NC, special friend Marilyn (Steve) Roberts of Hudson, NC, numerous cousins, and a host of beloved and devoted friends.

A graveside service will be held to honor Ann on Wednesday, June 28, 2023 at 11:00am at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir with Rev Mike Isaacs officiating.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be considered to Hibriten High School, attn. Athletic Department / Jeff Storie Memorial Stadium, 1350 Panther Trail SE, Lenoir, NC 28645.
