Mr. Brian Keith Spicer, 62, of Lenoir passed away on August 21, 2021 at Caldwell Memorial Hospital in Lenoir. Mr. Spicer was born June 16, 1959 in Caldwell County to Shirley Lowman Spicer and the late Roy Lee Spicer. In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a son, Brian Keith Spicer Jr.
Brian was a simple man who lived a simple life. He was kind, generous man who loved his family and was thoughtful of others. He enjoyed classic cars, loved to ride bicycles and enjoyed being in the outdoors. He will be greatly missed by his family who love him dearly.
In addition to his beloved mother, those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Melissa Hollander of Lenoir, brothers, Rev. Mike Spicer and wife Vickie of Happy Valley, Tim Spicer and wife Donna, of Lenoir, sisters, Teresa Henderson and husband Paul of Lenoir, Donna Kirby and husband Roger of Happy Valley and a granddaughter, Alexis Smith of Lenoir.
Also surviving are a multitude of aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews.
A funeral service to honor Brian will be held on Thursday, August 26, 2021 at 3:00 pm in the chapel of Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Spicer officiating. Burial will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park in Lenoir and will be private.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 2:00 pm until 3:00 pm at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home.
Serving as pallbearers will be Greg Barnett, Cody Spicer, Tyler Spicer, Mark Hollander, Chad Henderson, Damon Kirby, Mark Barnett and Dalton Henderson.
