Carroll Butch Edgar Small Jr.

Mr. Small was born in Caldwell County to the late Carroll Small, Sr. and Jewel Savannah Pearson Small. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Jeanette Small, a brother, Jerold Brent Small and a granddaughter, Leslie Potter.

He was a self-employed plumber and construction worker and was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church.

Survivors include his daughters, Linda Coffey, Brenda Small, Michelle Sacra and Teresa Pepperell; his brothers, Doug and Dennis Small; his sisters, Linda Price, Doris Laws, Gail Murphy and Peggy Sams. He also leaves behind 8 grandchildren to cherish his memory, Kristen Daniel, Gregory Norwood, Joshua Sacra, Christopher Norwood, Emilie Potter, Cody Pepperell, Tabitha Sacra and Savannah Pepperell.

A memorial service will be held Friday, November 9, 2012 in Pendry’s Chapel. At 7:00 p.m. with Rev. Dennis Whitt of Bible Baptist Church officiating. The family will receive friends at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home Friday 5:00 until 7:00 p.m.

The family requests that memorials be made to Caldwell Hospice and Palliative Care, 902 Kirkwood Street, Lenoir, NC 28645.
