Christopher James Smith, 32, of Lenoir went home to be with the Lord, March 25, 2016. He was born to Charles and Vicki Edwards Smith on August 22, 1983 in Caldwell County. He was a member of Miller Hill Baptist Church. Christopher enjoyed bear hunting, turkey calling, and dearly loved his cat Maddy and dog Stretch. Christopher was a beloved son, brother, uncle, nephew and friend who will be greatly missed by his loved ones and the ones that knew him.
Christopher is preceded in death by his Grandparents James and Ruth Edwards and Grandmother Juanita Keller.
Those left to cherish his memory are his parents; Charles and Vicki Smith of Lenoir, brother; Charles Smith Jr. of Lenoir, grandfather; Charlie “Jack” William Smith of Lenoir, numerous aunts and uncles, and two nieces Presley Smith and Brittany Smith.
In lieu of flowers the family asks that donations be made to Caldwell County Humane Society in honor of Christopher’s love for animals. The family also respects their privacy during this time.
