Danny Lee Wheatley

Mr. Wheatley was an avid hunter and fisherman and loved being outdoors.

He is survived by one daughter, Jennifer Wheatley Nassaur of Clayton, GA, one son, Sam Wheatley of Mountain City, TN, two grandsons, Michael Carlis of Marion, VA, Ian Henson of Lansing, NC, two granddaughters, Monica Carlis of Blowing Rock, Portia Moorehead of West VA, one great granddaughter, Leona Carlis of Marion, VA, one sister, Joyce Beane of Lenoir, NC, three brothers, Robert Earl "Donald" Wheatley of Lenoir, Calvin A. Wheatley and wife Juanita of Miller's Creek, NC, Michael Wheatley of Lenoir, NC, three nieces, Tammy (K.T.) Turner, Kelly (Mickey) Keller, Donna Livingston, of Lenoir, two nephews, Shane Wheatley (Holly), Marty Wheatley (April) of Millers Creek, NC. and several great nieces and nephews.

Mr. Wheatley was preceded in death by his father, Earl Wheatley and mother, Lorene Eldreth Wheatley Greene.

A memorial service will be held at a family park at the home of a cousin Sharlene and husband Bob Lewis 814 Three Top Rd., Creston, NC June 10 at 2:00 PM.
