Mr. Bryant was born March 12, 1950 in Burke County to the late David SR. and Dessie Dula Bryant. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three brothers, Willard, Walter and Shea Bryant, and four sisters, Juanita Kirby, Opal Sharpe and Geneva and Linda Bryant.
David worked for nearly 40 years in the furniture industry including time working at Broyhill, Hammary and Dunmore furniture factories.
David was a devoted father who was very close to his Son, Daniel. He was a hard worker and was a member of New Vision Baptist Fellowship in Granite Falls.
Survivors include his son, Daniel Bryant of Granite Falls, a Daughter, Dessie Ann Bryant McKinney of Hildebran, brother, Johnny Bryant of Icard, four grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
A funeral service will be held on Friday, November 25, 2022 at 2:00 pm in the chapel of Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home. Burial will follow the service at Laytown Baptist Church Cemetery.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 12:45 pm until 1:45 pm at Pendry’s Funeral Home.
