Edith Miller

Mrs. Miller was born in Watauga County to the late Rally Johnson and Caroline Davis Johnson. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband Wade Miller; a son, Arvil Davis; a daughter, Louise Carrico; two brothers and three sister; a granddaughter, Martha Miller and great granddaughter, Taylor Coffey. She was a homemaker and a member of Chapel of Grace Baptist Church.

Survivors include her son Charles Davis of Lenoir; her daughter, Mary Miller of Lenoir; fourteen grandchildren; twenty-four great grandchildren and fourteen great great grandchildren. Also left to cherish her memory are her caregivers for many years, Jean Miracle and Mary Church and special granddaughters, Linda Stacy and Katie Miller, and her hairdresser, Brenda Perry.

A graveside service will be held Thursday, June 7, 2012 at 3:00 p.m. at Hartley Hill Cemetery with Reverend Robert Edmiston and Pastor John Church and Reverend Nicky Waters officiating. The family will receive friends open hours at the home.

Serving as pallbearers will be James Stacey, Jacob Miller, Nathan Church, James Church, Josh Miller, Kilmer Miller, Lee Perry and Richie Rich.
