Ella Mae Harmon

Ella Mae Earp Harmon, 62, passed away, Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Caldwell County Hospice and Palliative Care in Lenoir, NC.

Mrs. Harmon was born in Caldwell County to Mary Elizabeth Price Earp and the late Glen Alvin Earp.

She was a member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church of Lenoir, NC.

Mrs. Harmon was a very proud wife, Mother, grandmother and great grandmother. She was a friend to all who came into contact with her. Mrs. Harmon loved the children she cared for at Lower Creek Baptist Church Day Care.

Survivors include her husband Elder Clifton Harmon of the home; two daughters, Karen H. Philyaw and husband, Charles, Kimberly H. Price and husband, Dean both of Lenoir, NC; three brothers, Ernest, Gary, and Harold Earp, all of Lenoir, NC; three grandchildren, Brittiney Campbell, Whitney and Haley Price, all of Lenoir, NC; two great grandchildren, Terry and Kadyn Campbell both of Lenoir, NC; two nephews, Jeremy Earp of Seattle, WA, Joseph Earp of Concord, NC; two nieces, Kellie and Leslie Earp, both of Lenoir, NC; one great niece, Shanea Dula; and three great nephews, Jeron Dula, Jackson Earp, and Nathaniel Earp .

A funeral service for Mrs. Harmon will be held Monday, October 25, 2010 at 11:00 am in Pendry’s Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Eric Hagan and Reverend Roy Robinson officiating. Burial will follow the service at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens. The family will receive friends Sunday, October 24, 2010 from 3:00 pm until 5:00 pm at Pendry’s Funeral Home.

Pallbearers will be Dennis Pritchard, Ronald Pritchard, Kenneth Pritchard, John Wood, Chris Campbell and Gary King.
