Fatina Cheyanne Hunt

In addition to her mother, she was preceded in death by her sister Mary Magalene Bowers and her brothers Leroy Horton and Benny Earl Horton.

Left to cherish Fatina's memory are her sister Aldamae Dula (husband Dale); her sister-in-law Debra Powell; her sons Michael P. Powell and Makiaya Powell (partner Leah); her granddaughters Kiaya, Kenna, Jalyssa, and Gydanci; her grandsons Jakylan, Mauricio, Rylan, and Terryiona; her nephew Dale Robert Dula, Jr. (wife Kayla); her great-niece Omryn Dula; and many beloved friends.

Fatina was a very loved sister, a good mother, and a friends to all. She will be remembered for her sense of humor and her ability to tell a good story. She was deeply loved and will be deeply missed.

A Celebration of Life will be held 2:00 PM on Sunday, May 3, 2026 at Highways to Hedges Ministry's, 1002 N Main St, Lenoir, NC 28645, with Rev. James Wilfong officiating.
