Faye Granny Faye Summerlin Holsclaw

Mrs. Holsclaw was born May 30, 1932 in Wilkes County to the late William Fred Summerlin and Bessie Walker Summerlin. She was a former EMT with Lenoir and Hudson Rescue Squad and was retired from Broyhill Furniture. She was active in the Seedline Ministry at Temple Baptist Church where she was a member.

She is preceded in death by her parents, spouse Steve Holsclaw, one son; Houston Holsclaw, one sister; Ann Trivette and two brothers; Morris Summerlin and Jones Ervin Summerlin.

Mrs. Holsclaw is survived by her son Mark Holsclaw and wife Bonnie of Lenoir, two daughters; Evelyn Williams and husband Timmy of Lenoir and Donna Holsclaw of Lenoir, 13 grandchildren, 14 great grandchildren and 2 great, great grandchildren.

Funeral Services for Mrs. Holsclaw will be 12:00 pm on Saturday, October 6, 2012 at Temple Baptist Church with Pastor Joel Bixler officiating the services. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Serving as pallbearers will be Doug Gibbs, Caleb Marshall, Buzz Boston, Justin Williams, Allen Holtzclaw, Robert Holsclaw, Andrew Holsclaw, and Mike Holsclaw.
