Florence B Sanders

Mrs. Sanders was born in Watauga County to the late Robert Calloway and Bessie Ruppard Calloway. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Onnie Grayson Sanders and a daughter, Joann Edna Mae Arnett, three brothers; Floyd, Paul and James, six sisters; Ruby, Ruth, Ollie, Nellie, Agnes and Jenny. She was a homemaker and of the Baptist faith. Florence was a dedicated mother to her children and for 63 years took wonderful care of her daughter Joann.

Those left to cherish her memory are her sons, Kim Grayson Sanders and wife Shirley of Lenoir, Ronda Lee Sanders and wife Lisa of Lenoir, Mark Shane Sanders of Lenoir, her daughters, Jewel Dean Arnett Sanders and husband Gary of Lenoir, Candy Sanders Bentley and husband Tony of Lenoir, one brother; Earl Dean “Bud” Calloway of Hudson, eleven grandchildren, ten great grandchildren and two great, great grandchildren.

Funeral services for Mrs. Sanders will be held Thursday, January 31, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. at Pendry’s Chapel with Reverend Eric Lane officiating. Burial will follow the service at Blue Ridge Memorial Park. The family will receive friends Wednesday, January 30, 2013 from 7:00pm – 9:00 pm at Pendry’s Funeral Home.

Pallbearers for Mrs. Sanders will be Justin Sanders, Tyler Sanders, Nathan Sanders, Daniel Bentley, Jeff Calloway and Duane Sanders
