Gary Phillip Minton, age 61, of Lenoir, North Carolina went home to be with his Lord on Thursday, January 9, 2025. Gary was born September 21, 1963 in Caldwell County to Paul Minton and the late Josephine Laws Minton.
In addition to his mother, her was preceded in death by his wife, Connie Baird, brother, Tommy Norris and brother, Preacher Mike Minton.
Gary attended Yadkin Valley Baptist Church and he loved his Lord. Gary was a very friendly, kind, generous person and loved people.
Those left to cherish memory include his dad, Paul Minton of Lenoir, sisters, Cindy Norris of Rhodhiss, Sandra Long of Lenoir, Kay Beard and husband Larry of Lenoir, brothers, Greg Minton and wife Susan of Lenoir, Bob and Terressa Baird of Taylorsville.
A Celebration of Life will be held to honor Gary on Saturday, January 25, 2025 at Yadkin Valley Baptist Church at 4135 Steeltown Road Lenoir, NC at 2:00 pm with Rev. Bobby W. Pritchard officiating.
