Jailah Zah’Niya Leigh Steptoe was born and passed away Wednesday May 1, 2013 at Catawba Valley Medical Center.
She is the infant daughter of Mariah Steptoe of Lenoir and is also survived by her grandparents, Sharon Boyce, Jerry Taylor and Major Steptoe; an aunt, Shaniah Boyce; uncles, Jeremy Boyce, Devin Boyce and Shykale Steptoe and a host of great aunts, great uncles and cousins.
A graveside service will be held Monday, May 6, 2013 at 4:00 p.m. at Blue Ridge Memorial Park with Pastor Geralene Patterson and Co-Pastor Aaron Patterson, Jr. of Christ Church of Lenoir officiating. The family will receive friends prior to the service at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home at 3:00 p.m.
