Jeffrey Warren Pritchard Jr.

Mr. Jeffrey Warren Pritchard Jr., age 39 passed away on Friday, July 4, 2025 at his residence. Jeffrey was born June 30th, 1986 in Burke County, North Carolina to Wanda Metcalf Burkett and Bruce Burkett.

Jeffrey was preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Edward Burkett.

Jeffrey was a loving and devoted husband, father and son, he loved his family with all his heart. He loved to go fishing with his family and friends and enjoyed playing video games with his children. Jeffrey was a hard worker and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.

Those left to cherish his memory include his parents, Wanda and Bruce Burkett of Morganton, his wife Ashley Pritchard of Morganton, his children, Eli Miller, Maverick James Pritchard, Logan Edward Pritchard, his brothers, Benjamin Matthew Burkett of Niles, Michigan, Joseph Bradley Burkett of Newport, Tennessee, Jonathan Keeter of Morganton, North Carolina, his sisters, Meritta Dawn Pritchard of Morganton, North Carolina, Jennifer Louise Davis of Sullivan, Missouri, maternal grandparents, Johnny and Meritta Metcalf, paternal grandmother, Mary Louise Burkett, paternal grandmother Phyllis Horner along with numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and extended family members.

A graveside service will be held to honor Jeffrey's life on Saturday, July 12, 2025 at 3:30 pm at Glen Alpine Cemetery in Glen Alpine, North Carolina with Rev. Jerry Stines officiating. Serving as pallbearers will be Benjamin Burkett, Adam and Aaron Biddix, Jonathon Metcalf, Mark Metcalf and John Keeter. Honorary pallbearer will be Miles Biddix.

The family will receive friends for two hours prior to the service, from 1:00 pm until 3:00 pm at the home of Jeffrey's grandparents at 4038 Martins Ave, Morganton, NC 28655.
