Mr. Jerrold Colin Price, 69, of Lenoir passed away on Thursday, May 22, 2025 at AMOREM Hospice in Hudson. Jerrold was born August 3, 1955 in Caldwell County to Trilby Miller Price and the late JC Price.
In addition to his father, he was preceded in death by a brother, Joe Price.
Those left to cherish his memory include his mother, Trilby Price of Lenoir, his children, Shon Price of Raleigh, Sonya Blevins of Lenoir, Elizabeth Holbrook of Sylvester, Georgia, and Katie Erickson of Asheboro, two sisters, Janice Hamby of Lenoir, Judy Price of Hickory and his dear friend Lynn Plummer of Sophia.
Also surviving are his grandchildren, Roger Blevins of Lenoir, Taigan Price of Raleigh, Cameron Erickson, of Asheboro, Adalynn Erickson of Asheboro, Walker Holbrook of Sylvester, Georgia and numerous nieces, nephews and extended family members.
Jerrold cherished his family and friends. He was there to encourage and support them. He called himself a nomad because he traveled from Raleigh to Winston Salem to Lenoir helping take care of his family and friends! He was a devoted family man.
Jerrold worked for the North Carolina Department of Information Technology. He will be remembered there as a dedicated, hard working employee, always willing to help others.
Jerrold loved the USA and was a proud veteran of the United States Air Force. He was a member of Union Grove Baptist Church and also attended Rushwood Church in Asheboro.
A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, June 14, 2025 at 2:00 pm at Union Grove Baptist Church in Lenoir with Rev. Sam Craven and Rev. Brent Tysinger officiating. Military Honors will be rendered by the United States Air Force and the Caldwell County Veterans Honor Guard.
The family will receive friends for one hour prior to the service, from 12:45 pm until 1:45 pm at the church.
