Mr. Rogers was born in Norfolk, VA to the late Gene Rogers and Barbara Jean Deal Rogers. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Michael Rogers. He was employed with Broyhill/Blue Ridge Panels for over 30 years. He was a loving father, friend and grandfather. He will be greatly missed by his family.
Those left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Jennifer Marley of Patterson; his sons, Tyler and Chase Rogers, both of Hudson; his brothers, Chris and Andrew Rogers; a sister, Kim Rogers; a granddaughter, Madeline Erskine.
The family will receive friends Friday, October 05, 2012 at Pendry’s Lenoir Funeral Home from 6:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m.
The family respectfully requests that memorials be made in his memory to any children’s organization.
