Wayne will be remembered for his love of his classic cars and his car club friends.
Wayne is survived by his sisters Linda Travis (husband Terry) of Conover and Phyllis Good (husband Henry) of Lenoir, his nieces and nephews Kelly Travis of Conover, Krista Travis White (husband Michael) of Conover, and Ashley Good Llamas (husband Drew) of Zebulon, NC, his great-nieces and nephews Chloe White, Sawyer Starnes, and Amelia and Dillon Llamas, and many beloved extended family members.
He was preceded in death by his parents Ross and Marjorie Hawkins and his great-nephew Ethan Michael.
The family will receive friends on Friday, April 19th, from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home.
A funeral service will be held 11:00 AM on Friday, April 19th in the Chapel at Pendry's Lenoir Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Gardens in Lenoir.
